What does ClassCampus include?

The ClassCampus System provides all the administration, student tracking, reporting and content creation/delivery facilities that you would find within a traditional learning establisment.

These include:-

  • Administration
Provides the facilities to register students, set-up classes, assign work schedules to class groups and students. Students access the system via secure passwords which relate to their specific site and class.

  • Work Schedules
Staff can create specific work schedules, which can be used by students or groups of students. The system allows students to only access learning materials that are located within their schedule.

  • Tracking of student progress
Whenever students key on to the system they are tracked. As they complete their assignments the system tracks and records their progress. ClassCampus has a unique automatic intervention facility that will re-direct students to appropriate support resources when a learning difficulty is encountered.

ClassCampus is unique in providing automatic, competency-based tracking and reporting of student attainment.

  • Student databases
ClassCampus uses standard SQL format for data collection and storage. Importing/exporting from/to other compatible databases is possible.

  • Communications
Within ClassCampus we have dedicated mail and chat facilities. Student access to these facilities can be restricted by their tutors. These facilities are built into ClassCampus and require no external registration/set-up.

  • Student's facilities
ClassCampus provides each student with electronic workbooks, which allow them to make diary entries as well as create on-line notes as they complete assignments. These workbooks can be assessed and marked by the tutors on-line, with the subsequent grading being automatically impacted into the student's database records.

There are facilities to allow students to complete homework tasks and activities and for email correspondence between tutors and students.

  • The ClassCampus environment
ClassCampus provides a multi-level structure that has a high degree of flexibility in the ways it can be implemented.

  • Content
ClassCampus provides access to a library of learning materials that cover a wide spread of grades and topics. Editing tools that enable staff to create their own tracked and managed content are also provided. All the learning materials available via ClassCampus are competency-based and feature our unique automatic intervention facilities.

Practical hands-on work that can be carried out in labs or classrooms linked via the ClassCampus network can be supported by both on-line and CD based multimedia instruction, which is controlled and tracked by ClassCampus. This includes our popular ScanTEK and DIGIAC ranges of hands-on teaching equipment.
