Using ClassCampus, schools, colleges, universities and training providers can create facilities where students can log on and learn from any Internet access point anywhere in the world. This flexibility of access, linked to the powerful student tracking system makes true distance learning possible without losing the vital link between the teacher and the student. With ClassCampus, help from an experienced tutor is always on hand either through our unique academic intervention system or through personalized intervention via email, with optional videoconference and electronic whiteboard support. The ClassCampus learning system comprises of several components, the key part being the on-line learning website. It is from here that students are able to logon and carry out programs of study. Tutors are also able to logon to the website and monitor and control student activities. Access to the on-line learning system can be setup for users on a local Intranet (LAN), a wide area network (WAN) or via the Internet. The ClassCampus on-line learning website has various built in utilities to assist both the student and tutor in carrying out these activities, including: Mail and Chat utilities to facilitate student to tutor and if enabled, student to student communication. An electronic journal where students and tutors can leave notes and messages on particular activities or enter date related notes/reminders. A site notice board enabling effective communication to groups of students or all students. Immediate marking of material with reports for both student and tutor. Tutor entered marking system.
