Each ClassCampus hosted site has a single site supervisor. During the site voucher registration process the site supervisor account details will have been emailed to the address specified.

As a ClassCampus hosted site supervisor, you have extra permissions to be able to perform some special tasks. Site supervisors have all the powers of a Tutor and have access to ALL classes, students and tutors on the site. You also have the ability to view and change a number of site settings.

Tasks a Site Supervisor should complete include:

1. Change your password

The first time you use the site you should logon with the details specified in your registration email and change your password to a secure one that you can remember.

  1. After logging on, select the 'Admin' item in the ClassCampus menu bar.
  2. Select the 'Tutor Management' option from the admin menu.
  3. Locate yourself in the list of site users and click the Edit button.
  4. Enter a new password, confirm it then click OK.

The next time you log on you will need to enter your new password.

2. Create accounts for all the tutors you know will be using the system

Before any of your tutors can logon, you must create accounts for them:

  1. Logon and enter the 'Tutor Management' utility (as you did above when changing your password).
  2. Click the 'New' button and enter the details for your first tutor.
  3. Repeat for all tutors.

Note: If the 'New' button disappears it is because you have used up your allowance of tutors for the site.

You can also create each tutor's classes and assign them or you can leave that for the tutors to do themselves. Use the on-line help for details on creating classes.

3. Ensure the site details are correct

You can change various settings for your site, including the access code to be entered by all users of your site, the site name and your contact details, as follows:

  1. After logging on, select the 'Admin' item in the ClassCampus menu bar
  2. Select the 'Site Management' option from the Admin menu.
  3. Make any changes to the site settings you require referring to the information supplied on the page for guidance.
  4. Click the 'Save' link.

Note: Your current license status is also shown on this page, including the number days left on your site license and the modules that can be accessed from the site.
