This page contains ActiveX components to enable fault/function switching to LJ compatible hardware and to run LJ ClassAct compatible content through ClassCampus. All the components in the download are signed but you will need sufficient security privileges and may need to respond to one or more prompts to allow the download to complete. Depending on your connection speed, the download make take a few minutes.

The Fault/Function switching component is able to send fault/function information to compatible hardware connected to this workstation. The top section of the 'Workstation Setup' utility allows the fault communication settings to be configured for this workstation.

The second component included in this download provides the ability to run LJ ClassAct based content either directly from CD or from the hard disk (if the content is installed). Part of this component enables applications to be launched using standard ClassAct Application Codes. The bottom two sections of the 'Workstation Setup' utility are used for configuring this type of work.

Once downloaded, click the 'Setup' button to launch the 'Workstation Setup' utility to configure your system. The configuration settings are detailed below.

Note: You will require Administrator privileges to change the configuration settings.

Fault Switching

For your system, select the appropriate port to send the fault information to:

Leave the 'Extended Fault' setting as '(none)' unless specifically instructed to change it.

If the fault driver is not installed, click the 'Install Driver' button. (If the driver is installed this button will change to 'Uninstall' - you do not need to click it).

Application Launching

The 'App...' button allows existing application launch codes to be edited or new ones added.

CD Content Options

If LJ ClassAct content is being run from CD, selecting the 'Allow work off-line' option will instruct the workstation to only send information back to the server when the piece of content is handed in (instead of after every question).

After making the appropriate settings, click the 'Save' button.

Note: These settings are specific to this individual workstation.
